This policy is valid from June 16, 2017. This blog is written and edited by me, Alicia Shelton. I do not accept any form of cash or paid topic insertions. However, I may accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations. If somebody sends me free stuff—yippee!
Affiliate Relationships I maintain an affiliation with several companies. BUT—I assure you, I will discontinue that affiliation and cease any recommendation of their product(s) if I no longer trust and believe in a particular company or service. I will be honest with you in everything I write in this blog. If something sucks, I’m going to tell you it sucks. If something is fabulous, I’m going to tell you it’s fabulous and recommend you give it a try.
I have no interest in deceiving you in any way. My views and opinions are my own. I will only endorse products or services that I believe in and either use myself or have thoroughly researched.Specifically, I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
My Motivation Do I want this blog to make money? You bet! The more money it makes, the more time I’m able to commit to developing it. BUT—that DOES NOT mean I put making money before my readers. Without you, this blog is worthless. I’ve never been terribly motivated by money. Now, let’s be real for a minute—that doesn’t mean I don’t like money. Everyone loves money! I just mean that the success of this blog, this community, and the trust of my readers IS FAR MORE important to me.
So there ya go! I will always be honest with you regardless of the benefit, or lack thereof, to myself or this blog.
